Gene Liau

Gene Liau worked as an Executive Director and Head of External R&D Rare Disease at Pfizer Inc. from 2011 to 2015.
He then worked as Senior Vice President and Head of Gene Therapy R&D at Precision BioSciences, Inc. from 2015 to 2017.
Prior to that, he was a Professor at The George Washington University Medical Center from 1995 to 2000.
Currently, he is the Chief Scientific Officer at Stoke Therapeutics, Inc. from 2018 to 2022.
He also worked as a Senior Scientist at Jerome H Holland Laboratory.
Dr. Liau holds a doctorate degree from Vanderbilt University and an undergraduate degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which he received in 1977.
