Currently, John T. Kochavatr holds the position of Chief Information Officer & Vice President-IT at Portland General Electric Co. Mr. Kochavatr is also Chairman of Technology Association of Oregon.

In his past career he occupied the position of Chief Information Officer & Senior Vice President for SUEZ WTS USA, Inc. and Chief Information Officer & Senior Vice President of GE Water & Process Technologies Co.

He received an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
