Zun Yi Liu is currently the Vice Chairman of Our Hong Kong Foundation Ltd.
and the Chairman of Shenzhen Finance Institute.
He is also an Independent Director of Far EasTone Telecommunications Co., Ltd.
and Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp.
Additionally, he holds positions as a Director of Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation for International Scholarly Exch, Hong Kong Foundation for UBC Ltd., and Lui Che Woo Prize Ltd.
He is a Professor at the Institute of Global Economics & Finance and the Vice President of China Science Center of International Eurasian Academy of.
In the past, he served as Vice Chairman of CITIC Capital Holdings Ltd.
and China Center for International Economic Exchanges.
He was also Chairman of CIC International (Hong Kong) Co. Ltd.
from 2010 to 2014.
He currently holds positions as an Independent Non-Executive Director of CNOOC Ltd., Hysan Development Co., Ltd., AIA Group Ltd., and Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp.
He was a Director of Precoad, Inc. He was also the Director of Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research from 1997 to 1999 and a Professor at Stanford University from 1999 to 2006.
He was the Supervisor of Shin Kong Life Insurance Co., Ltd.
in 2010 and the Professor & Vice Chancellor of The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2004 to 2010.
Dr. Liu received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University in 1964 and his graduate and doctorate degrees from the University of California, Berkeley in 1966 and 1969, respectively.
