She is also Member of Thailand Office of The Council of State, Council Member at Council of State Thailand and Member-Council of State at Office of The Council of State and on the board of 8 other companies.

In the past Potjanee Thanavaranit held the position of Chairman for Thailand Insurance Institute, Vice President for National Legislative Assembly, Member of The Federation of Thai Insurance Organization, Member of National Reform Council, Chairman for Thailand Ministry of Commerce, Member-Monetary Policy Board at Bank of Thailand, Treasurer at Rajnakarin Kidney Foundation and Treasurer & Director at Bhumirajanagarindra Kidney Institute Foundation.

She received an undergraduate degree from the University of Chulalongkorn, an undergraduate degree from National Defense College and an MBA from Syracuse University.
