In his past career he occupied the position of Chief Executive Officer of Latin American Airport Holdings Ltd. and Chief Financial Officer of Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI SA.

He received an MBA from Harvard Business School and an undergraduate degree from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
