Table to Table is a non-profit food rescue program that collects fresh and perishable food from over 150 donors, including restaurants, supermarkets, and corporate cafeterias, and delivers it to over 250 community partners in Northern New Jersey. The private company is based in Northern New Jersey. The organization provides food free of charge to soup kitchens, homeless shelters, senior adult facilities, day care centers, homes for victims and children of domestic violence, after-school programs, and pantries serving the working poor. Table to Table raises its own funds every year and delivered enough food for more than 26 million meals last year. The organization has rescued and delivered the equivalent of more than 288 million meals since its inception in 1999 and saved nearly 98,000 tons of potentially wasted food from landfills.
