Taylor, CFA MBA, is a Senior Director at Fitch Ratings, Inc. Her responsibilities include corporate credit analysis for high-yield and investment grade companies in the restaurant, grocery retail, and food industries.

Prior to joining Fitch in March 2004, Ms. Taylor spent four years as Vice President of Equity Research for The Kenwood Group (acquired by Profit Investment Management in January 2006).
At Kenwood she recommended and monitored a diversified portfolio of mid-cap value consumer, financial, and healthcare stocks.
She began her investment career at the Northern Trust Corporation where she earned two title level promotions over a seven-year period.
While at Northern, she worked in Northern Trust Global Investments as an International Equity Analyst with an emphasis on large-cap growth consumer, media and telecommunications companies in Latin America and as a Product Manager for enhanced cash and structured investment products.
She earned a BA in Professional Options with an emphasis in Economics from The University of Chicago in 1992.
She subsequently, completed an M.B.A.
in finance and organizational behavior from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 1993.
Carla earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2000.
Carla is a member of the CFA Society of Chicago where she serves as a judge for the Annual Research Challenge and has co-chaired the Career Management Advisory Group.
