Greg Medcraft

Greg Medcraft is the founder of the American Securitization Forum, which was founded in 2002.
He served as Chairman from 2005 to 2007.
Currently, he holds multiple positions including Chairman at Australian Finance Group Ltd. since 2021, Director at Salzburg Global Seminar, Inc. since 2016, Director at Global Digital Finance Ltd. since 2021, and Non-Executive Director at Digital Finance CRC since 2021.
Previously, he held various roles such as Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director at The Australian Securitisation Forum from 2008 to 2009, Chairman at Australian Securities & Investments Commission from 2011 to 2017, and Chairman at The International Organization of Securities Commissions from 2013 to 2016.
He also worked as an Associate Director at Société Générale SA and served as Director-Financial & Enterprise Affairs at Organisation for Economic Co-Operation & Development from 2017 to 2021.
Additionally, he was a Director at Australian Crime Commission from 2011 to 2017 and Head-Securitization at SG Australia Holdings Ltd. He started his career as an Accountant at KPMG Australia Pty Ltd. from 1977 to 1980 and later became Global Head-Securitization at Société Générale North America, Inc. from 2000 to 2007.
He was also a Member of the Australian Council of Financial Regulators from 2011 to 2017 and a Council Member at Woollahra Municipal Council from 1995 to 1999.
Mr. Medcraft obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Melbourne.
