John Raymond

General Raymond joined Cerberus in 2023 following 38 years of distinguished service in the U.S.
Air Force and as a key architect of the U.S.
Space Force.
Most recently, General Raymond served as the first Chief of Space Operations of the U.S.
Space Force, leading the military branch from its creation in 2019 until his retirement in 2022.
As the highest-ranking officer in the Space Force, General Raymond held a seat on the Joint Chiefs of Staff and was responsible for organizing and overseeing the interests of the United States and allied nations in space.
General Raymond graduated from Clemson University and earned master’s degrees from the Naval War College and Central Michigan University.
