Place is Senior Vice President & Portfolio Manager at Appleton Partners, Inc. She is responsible for the development and investment management of new client relationships for Appleton and Cambridge Appleton Trust.
She has over 30 years experience in the investment management and private wealth management industry.
In Appleton she is part of the equity research and strategy committee.
Her responsibilities include providing financial and investment planning as well as assisting clients with establishing an asset allocation strategy given their overall risk tolerance and cash flow requirements.
She is a current member of the Boston Estate Planning Council, The Boston Family Office Group, Family Firm Institute, Women in Finance, and The Vincent Club, an organization that supports the Vincent Memorial Hospital at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Prior to joining Appleton in 2003, Ms. Place held many positions in private wealth management area with United States Trust Company of Boston, BayBank Harvard Trust and Gardner Preston and Moss.
She is a graduate of Bentley College, Simmons Graduate School of Management and Boston University’s College of Financial Planning.
