The firm selects countries by utilizing a top-down approach and selects stocks using fundamental analysis with a bottom-up approach.

Amerindo's investment objective is long-term capital appreciation. This investment approach focuses on those sectors of emerging growth technology that they believe will be responsible for producing the next major wave of economic growth. The investment team continually searches for relatively new public companies in their sectors with substantial growth potential. Portfolios are constructed with concentrated initial positions in a limited number of stocks. Amerindo's investment process begins by determining the fastest growing end-user markets in technology and science with the greatest potential, then identifying the leading companies in those markets leveraging off the work of the best venture capitalists, investment bankers and industry experts. The firm then determines if the management, technology and market are able to produce a successful company dominating its industry that will give rise to a sustainable period of growth. Amerindo re-invests maturing positions and starts the process again. Amerindo may sell when a significant change in the company's vision takes place, management missteps or there is a negative major market or technology shift. It has always been Amerindo's strategy to invest in young technology companies during their most dynamic growth phase. Typically after a 3 to 5 year period, they believe a successful emerging technology company will see its early explosive growth rates begin to moderate. At this juncture Amerindo would be looking into other faster growing candidates to re-deploy its investment funds.

Bennett Lawrence Management (BLM) conducts in-house primary research to identify unique, high growth investment opportunities. Their strategies include: the Bennett Lawrence Growth Equity Composite, the Bennett Lawrence Mid-Cap Composite, The Bennett Lawrence Growth Equity Composite is an all-cap growth strategy. The composite contains the performance results of all fully discretionary portfolios in this strategy. The market-caps of these portfolios fluctuate depending upon market conditions. BLM's growth equity portfolios are suitable for investors seeking long-term capital appreciation. Investments are made in competitively advantaged companies that serve high growth markets. Portfolios are privately managed and tax considerations, social/religious concerns and other client issues may be included in the process. The Bennett Lawrence Mid-Cap Composite is a mid-cap growth strategy. The composite contains the performance results of all fully discretionary portfolios. 80% of the portfolio's equity market value is typically invested in the stocks of companies with a market-cap of $15 billion or less at cost. In general, the weighted average market-cap of the portfolio will be no more than 1.5 times the weighted average capitalization of the Russell Midcap Growth Index. Investments are made in competitively advantaged companies that serve high growth markets. Portfolios are privately managed and tax considerations, social/religious concerns and other client issues may be included in the process. The Bennett Lawrence Small-Cap Composite is a small-cap growth strategy. The composite contains the performance results of all fully discretionary portfolios. In general, 75% of BLM's small-cap portfolios' holdings will be in the shares of companies with a market-cap of $2.5 billion or less at the time of initial purchase. Portfolios seek to provide long-term growth investors a way to access growth opportunities in the shares of smaller companies. Portfolios are privately managed and tax considerations, social/religious concerns and other client issues may be included in the process. BLM's long/short seeks to amplify the core concepts of their growth investment approach through the use of leverage and short positions. The firm seeks to capitalize on the lack of Wall Street research coverage among smaller and mid-sized companies. They select long positions that can capitalize on the long-term earnings growth potential of competitively advantaged companies that are benefiting from strong demand trends. BLM's short positions focus on the shares of companies that have deteriorating growth prospects. The firm manages market risk through the use of both company specific short positions short sales of ETFs.
