Paul John Dowd

Paul John Dowd is currently the Chairman of the Resources Sector Infrastructure Council of South Australia, the Chairman of CSIRO's ICT Sector Advisory Council, the Chairman of Mineral Resources & Heavy Engineering Skills Centre, Inc., a Director of the Resources & Engineering Skills Alliance, a Director of The Sustainable Minerals Institute, a Member of the Australian Institute of Co. Directors, and a Commissioner of the Training & Skills Commission.
In the past, Mr. Dowd served as the Non-Executive Chairman of Andromeda Metals Ltd., the Non-Executive Director of Northgate Minerals Corp., the Independent Non-Executive Director of Energy Resources of Australia Ltd., the Non-Executive Director of Regis Resources Ltd., the Non-Executive Director of Peabody Energy Australia PCI Pty Ltd., the Managing Director & Vice President of Newmont Australia Pty Ltd., the Non-Executive Director of CuFe Ltd., the Non-Executive Director of PNX Metals Ltd., the Independent Non-Executive Director of OZ Minerals Ltd., and the Vice President-Australia & New Zealand Operations of Newmont Corp.
He also held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Normandy Mining Ltd.Mr. Dowd obtained an undergraduate degree from The University of New South Wales.
