Scot Sobey

Scot is responsible for evaluation and management of private equity and direct investments, and management of portfolio company positions.
Scot is a mechanical engineer with over 20 years’ experience in natural resources, with particular expertise in operations and management of gold and base metals processing operations.
Prior to joining Pacific Road Scot handled direct investments for a family office focused on Copper / Cobalt projects in Southern Africa, and also was the COO of First Uranium and Mine Waste Solutions, a TSX-listed mid-sized gold producer.
Scot is a Director of Base Resources, an ASX-listed mineral sands producer operating in Kenya and Madagascar, and Executive Director of Whitecap Minerals, an industrial minerals producer in Western Australia.
