KIA-IM is a conservative manager which aims to achieve a long-term investment return on the financial reserves entrusted by the State of Kuwait to the Kuwait Investment Authority, providing an alternative to oil reserves, which would enable Kuwait's future generations to face the uncertainties ahead with greater confidence. The firm does not invest in sectors where gaming and alcohol-related activities constitute the main source of business and does not use any derivative products as investment vehicles. They also do not borrow for investment purposes as this is prohibited by the Kuwait's Constitution. KIA-IM invests funds through external fund managers out of Kuwait.
