Equinor ASA is de grootste oliegroep in Scandinavië. De netto-omzet is als volgt over de verschillende activiteiten verdeeld
- raffinage en distributie van olieproducten (98,5%): aankoop en verkoop van ruwe olie, productie van methanol en distributie van geraffineerde producten. De groep is ook betrokken bij de transformatie, het transport en de verkoop van aardgas;
- exploratie en productie van benzine en aardgas (1,4%);
- overige (0,1%).
