Beschrijving van de bedrijfsactiviteiten: Nokia Oyj

Nokia Oyj is gespecialiseerd in het ontwerp, de productie en de verkoop van apparatuur voor telecommunicatie. De omzet per activiteit is als volgt onderverdeeld:

- ontwikkeling van oplossingen voor mobiele breedbandnetwerken (44%): met name bedoeld voor telecommunicatie-exploitanten. Het concern biedt bovendien professionele diensten aan (planning en optimalisering van de netwerken, integratie van systemen, installatie, uitvoering van en serviceonderhoud aan telecomnetwerken);

- ontwikkeling van oplossingen voor netwerk-infrastructuren (36,1%): IP-routers en oplossingen voor optische aansluitingen;

- softwareontwikkeling (14,5%): software voor beheer van de klantervaring, netwerkbewerking en -beheer, communicatie, samenwerking en facturering, Internet of Things-oplossingen en cloudbeheerplatforms;

- ontwikkeling van geavanceerde technologie (4,9%);

- andere (0,6%).

De geografische verdeling van de omzet is als volgt: Europa (26,4%), Noord-Amerika (25,8%), India (12,8%), China (5,8%), Azië-Pacific (10,3%), Midden-Oosten en Afrika (9,2%), Latijns-Amerika (4,7%) en andere (5%).
