Beschrijving van de bedrijfsactiviteiten: Tessenderlo Group nv

Tessenderlo Group nv is een gediversifieerde industriële groep. De omzet per activiteit is als volgt onderverdeeld:

- verkoop van agrochemische producten (27,1%): voedingsstoffen voor gewassen (vloeibare zwavelhoudende meststoffen, vaste en oplosbare meststoffen op basis van kaliumsulfaat, enz;

- verkoop van dierlijke bijprodukten (24,8%): dierlijke vetten en proteïnen, gelatine, collageenpeptiden, enz;

- verkoop van industriële produkten (24,2%): kunststofleidingsystemen, PVC-profielen, chemische producten (ijzerchloride, natriumhydroxide, natriumhypochloriet, zoutzuur, natriumsulfide, waterstofsulfide, calciumchloride, enz.), elektrolyseprodukten, chemische specialiteiten, enz. voor gebruik in de sectoren vervoer en waterbehandeling, bouw, mijnbouw, voedselverwerking, olie- en gasindustrie, enz;

- verkoop van industriële apparatuur (21,3%): elektronische apparatuur, precisieonderdelen, weefmachines, gieterijapparatuur, apparatuur voor het bedrukken van metaal, enz;

- elektriciteitsproduktie (2,6%).

De geografische verdeling van de omzet is als volgt: Europa (54,5%), Noord-Amerika (26,7%), Azië (12,4%), Zuid-Amerika (4%) en andere (2,4%).
