The Walt Disney Company is een media- en recreatieconcern. De omzet per activiteit is als volgt onderverdeeld:

- exploitatie van entertainmentmedia en audiovisuele productie (44,1%): uitzenden van tv- programma's en streaming video (58% van de omzet; Disney+, Disney+ Hotstar en Hulu), exploitatie van tv-zenders en radiostations (22%; ABC Television Network, Disney, Freeform, FX en National Geographic) en andere (20%; productie en distributie van audiovisuele inhoud, filmlicenties, enz.);

- exploitatie van themaparken en hotelcomplexen (37,5%): eind september 2025 beheerde het concern 74 attractieparken (39 hotels) in de Verenigde Staten (Walt Disney World, Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, enz.; 42 themaparken en 21 hotels), Frankrijk (Disneyland Parijs; 9 themaparken en 7 hotels), Hong Kong (Hong Kong Disneyland; 8 themaparken en 3 hotels), China (Shanghai Disney Resort; 8 themaparken en 2 hotels) en Japan (Tokyo Disney Resort; 7 themaparken en 6 hotels). Het concern ontwikkelt parallel hieraan activiteiten op het gebied van de verkoop van cruises (Disney Cruise Line), de organisatie van reizen (Disney Vacation Club en Adventures by Disney), het ontwerp en de ontwikkeling van parken en vastgoedactiva, en verkoop van afgeleide producten (kinderboeken, speelgoed, spelsoftware, films, enz.);

- productie en distributie van tv-programma's en videostreaming gericht op sport (18,4%): ESPN en ESPN+.

De geografische verdeling van de omzet is als volgt: Noord- en Zuid-Amerika (81%), Europa (11,7%) en Azië-Pacific (7,3%).
