Andrew Gier

Mr. Andrew Gier, CFA, is a Director at Capstone LLC.
He joined Capstone in 2015 and is an Analyst on the Energy team.
He advises clients on policy issues surrounding distributed generation, energy efficiency financing, clean energy tax credits, the North American Free Trade Agreement renegotiation, and numerous environmental regulations at the state and federal levels.
Prior to joining Capstone, Mr. Gier interned for a venture capital firm in London, as well as for a nonprofit fighting poverty on the South Side of Chicago.
He received degrees in economics, history, and German from Boston College and lives in Arlington, VA.
