Andy Singer

Mr. Singer is Senior Legal Counsel of ECP.
He advises on all areas of the Firm’s investment activities, with a particular emphasis on fossil and renewable power generation and environmental services.
Mr. Singer serves on the board of Calpine Corporation.
Prior to realization, Mr. Singer served on the boards of Brayton Point Power, LLC., EquiPower Resources Corp., Broad River Power Holdings, LLC, CE2 Carbon Capital, LLC, Empire Gen Holdings, Inc., Power Holdings of Illinois LLC, Terra-Gen, LLC, and as observer to Rimrock Midstream, LLC.
Prior to joining ECP in 2005, Mr. Singer was a partner at the law firm of Latham & Watkins LLP and the Global Chair of Latham’s Project Development and Finance Group, with 18 years of experience in the energy industry.
Mr. Singer has had significant experience in representing both lenders and borrowers in power development, acquisition and financing transactions.
Mr. Singer received a B.S.
in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a J.D.
from Harvard University.
