Brian W.
Whitcomb has been Honorary President of the Professional Golfers' Association of America since November 18, 2006.
Prior to his current position, he was a Director of the National PGA from 1998 to 2001, the Southwest PGA Section from 1989 to 1991, Section's Secretary from 1991 to 1993, Vice President from 1993 to 1995, President from 1995 to 1997, and Honorary President from 1997 to 1999.
Previously, Mr. Whitcomb was appointed as Secretary of PGA in 2002 and Vice President in 2004, and President in 2006.
Before that, he worked with the Arizona Biltmore Country Club in 1978.
Mr. Whitcomb worked with The Golf Club at Beardance.
He received a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Arizona State University in 1978.
