Mr. Clifford Sterling is a Portfolio Manager at Seelaus Asset Management LLC.
Mr. Sterling joined the firm in June 2019, when Seelaus Asset Management purchased Sterling Wealth Advisors, an agency Mortgaged-Backed Securities (MBS)-focused RIA of which he was founder and a Managing Member.
Prior to founding Sterling Wealth Advisors, he was one of the founding partners of Tribal Capital Markets where he served both the firm’s retail clients and institutional clients, advising them on various Agency MBS trading and investing strategies.
He previously was one of the founding members of Braver Sterns Securities institutional sales and trading division immediately following the financial crisis, where his team identified the opportunity to provide liquidity in the severely depressed and undervalued MBS market.
He began his career at Bear Stearns in 1986 and held key sales positions in the mortgage department through his 22-year tenure there..
He holds a BA in Finance from Franklin and Marshall College.
