Delia MacMillan

Ms. Delia MacMillan is Managing Vice President at Gartner Research Group.
Before moving into the management position with the mobile team, Ms. MacMillan covered issues regarding mobile data adoption in Western Europe.
Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. MacMillan was a consultant advising clients on mobile telecommunications issues such as SMS and WAP services and the potential market for Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs).
She spent three years with U.K.-based consulting firm Consult Hyperion as a senior consultant working on mobile telephony projects such as BTCellnet’s mobile portal Genie Internet.
Before that, she worked for SEMA Group on projects related to fixed-line number portability for U.K.
cable operators.
Originally from the U.S., Ms. MacMillan first came to the U.K.
in 1994 with DST Innovis, a company specializing in cable and telephony billing and customer care software.
Ms. MacMillan has a master of science degree in computer information systems from Georgia State University and a bachelor of arts honors degree in business from the University of North Carolina.
