Donald Ray Scifres founded SDL Ventures LLC in 2003, where he is working as Managing Director from 2012 and VisionTech Partners LLC in 2013, where he is working as General partner from 2013.
Dr. Scifres also currently works at selectION, Inc., as Director, Lutheran Church Extension Fund, as Board of Directors Member; Vice-Chairperson from 2017, Kerauno LLC, as President-Mergers, Acquisitions & Investments from 2018, and Internxt Universal Technologies SL, as Investor & Advisor from 2018.
Dr. Scifres also formerly worked at Bloomerang LLC, as Board of Directors Member and Investor from 2012 to 2020, Xerox Corp., as Principal from 1972 to 1983, SDL, Inc., as Principal from 1983 to 2003, Courseload, Inc., as senior vice president/coo & board member from 2009 to 2012, 250ok, Inc., as Investor; Board of Advisors Member from 2012 to 2020, SmarterHQ, Inc., as Investor; Board of Advisors Member from 2011 to 2020, App Press LLC, as Board observer from 2014 to 2017, and ANGEL Learning, Inc., as vice president from 2007 to 2009.
Dr. Scifres received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and graduate degree and doctorate degree from the University of Illinois.
