Edward H. Shortliffe

Edward H.
Shortliffe has been Dean of the Faculty of the University of Arizona College of Medicine since March 2007 and a Director of Medco Health Solutions, Inc. since August 2003.
He held various positions at Columbia University, including Chairman of the Department of Biomedical Informatics for the College of Physicians and Surgeons and Director of Medical Informatics Services for the New York Presbyterian Hospital and served as a Professor from January 2000 to March 2007.
From 1979 to 2000, Dr. Shortliffe was a Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine and previously served as Associate Dean for Information Resources and Technology and Chief of the Division of General Internal Medicine.
