Eric Hanson

Prior to joining Berggruen Holdings in May 2000, Mr. Hanson had been Vice President of acquisitions in the US until 1986 with Hanson Plc.
On leaving Hanson he joined a small American Stock Exchange company as President & built the company by acquisition before selling off the various parts.
In 1992 he joined MacAndrews & Forbes where he was involved in a number of M&A transactions.
He led the management buyout of the MasterCraft Boat Company, & subsequently joined Berggruen Holdings.
He is a director of Hoover Treated Wood Inc, Bonded Services Ltd & GLobal Suppoly Chain Finance AG.
Mr. Hanson holds a MA from Cambridge University & a MBA from INSEAD.
He is married with two adult children.
