Fung Kong Yap

Fung Kong Yap is the founder of Canteran Apparel Sdn.
Bhd., which was founded in 1991.
He also held the position of Executive Deputy Chairman at Jerasia Capital Bhd.
from 2012 to 2022.
Additionally, Mr. Yap served as an Executive Director at Tai Wah Garments Manufacturing Bhd.
from 1984 to 1991.
He was also the President of the Malaysian Textile Manufacturers Association and a Member of The Malaysian Textile & Apparel Centre.
Prior to that, he worked at the Malaysia Ministry of International Trade & Industry as the Head of the Textiles Unit from 1973 to 1984.
Mr. Yap obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Malaya.
