C & C is an active, analytical manager which focuses on investing in emerging Swedish commercialization phase technology companies in a range of sectors including IT, telecom, Internet, media, energy, environmental technology, medical and manufacturing. They prefer companies which own unique products/software/systems. The firm seeks to invest in companies with an existing or planned management team with good management structure, turnover up to SEK 50 million, a stable profit history, good gross margins or a clear plan to improve, an attractive business model, good market position with opportunities to expand further in Sweden and good prospects for strong international growth and a strategic shift or change in situation which may involve a market breakthrough. C & C can take an active role in recruiting a management team, but in such a case investment is conditional on the recruitment of personnel with the required skills. For company sales where the CEO/entrepreneur is unavailable after the transaction, C & C can act as a partner in the MBO/MBI. The firm partners with their investee companies, taking a board seat and providing a Project Manager to operationally supplement them, often in sales strategy and sales efforts. They also provide investee companies with access to their network.
