Mr. Hiroyasu Sato is a Chief Portfolio Manager at Tokio Marine Asset Management Co., Ltd.
Mr. Sato joined Tokio Marine Asset Management in January 2011 and has been a key member of the Japanese equity management and investment research teams having been both a portfolio manager and a senior analyst.
He started his career in 1998 as a Japanese equity research analyst at Daiwa Institute of Research Ltd., covering the Japanese electronics industry.
In 2005, he transferred to Daiwa USA, where he took up coverage of US and European electronics companies for 4 years before relocating to Daiwa Securities Group, Japan, in 2009.
He was then able to utilise his global and local experience to oversee equity research coverage of the Japanese electronics sector.
Mr. Sato holds a BSc and MSc in Nuclear Engineering from Kyoto University.
