Jayampathy Molligoda

Jayampathy Molligoda is the founder of Sri Lanka Institute of Directors, The Association of Human Resources Professionals.
He currently holds the position of Executive Deputy Chairman at Metrocorp (Pvt) Ltd., Director at BPL Teas (Pvt) Ltd., Director at Walters Bay Bogawantalawa Estates Pvt Ltd., Director at Bogawantalawa Tea Marketing Pvt Ltd., Director at Bogawantalawa Tea Ceylon Pvt Ltd., Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, Member of Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka, and Member of The Organisation of Professional Associations of Sri Lanka.
Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer & Director at Bogawantalawa Tea Estates Plc from 2012 to 2019.
He also held the position of Chairman at Sri Lanka Tea Board and Non-Executive Director at Bank of Ceylon.
Additionally, he served as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Metropolitan Resource Holdings Plc from 2009 to 2010.
From 2007 to 2017, he was an Independent Non-Executive Director at Hapugastenne Plantations Plc and Udapussellawa Plantations Plc.
Mr. Molligoda obtained an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management.
