Staples served as the Chief Executive Officer of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and the Regional Medical Director of International SOS Pte Ltd. He was also the Chief Operating Officer of Metro Pacific Hospital Holdings, Inc. and Al Noor Hospitals Group Plc.
Prior to that, he served as the Chief of Flight Medicine in the US Air Force and as the President-China & North Asia Division of ParkwayHealth China.
He was also the Chief Executive & Operating Officer of Sheikh Khalifa Medical City.
Recently, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of New Frontier Health Corp.
Staples holds a doctorate from The Trustees of Columbia University in The City of New York, an MBA from San Francisco State University, and an undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University.
