Jim Tao

Jun ("Jim") Tao is a Manageing Director of CITIC Capital.
He was a Director of Asia-Pacific Operations before, joined American Securities Captial Partners in 2006 to help establish the Shanghai office.
Formerly, Mr. Tao was General Manager at GE Healthcare's Shanghai office where he focused on strategic planning and P&L management for GE's "start-up" Global Patient Monitor business.
Also at GE, Mr. Tao developed and executed the China sourcing growth strategy for GE Healthcare.
Prior to that, Mr. Tao held multiple positions in marketing, Six Sigma, services and manufacturing with GE in United States.
Mr. Tao has a BS in Material Science & Engineering from Shanghai JiaoTong University, an MS in Material Science & Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Marquette University.
