Marc Gonsalves

Mr. Gonsalves has been the Executive General Manager Corporate Affairs of Xstrata Plc since January 2002, and is in charge of the Group's external affairs and investor relations.
He held the same position at Billiton plc from October 1997 until the merger with BHP Limited, subsequently heading up investor relations and communications at BHP Billiton until the end of 2001.
Prior to moving back to the United Kingdom in 1997, he was head of corporate affairs at JCI Limited, where he worked from 1991.
