Matt is a Managing Director based in H.I.G.
Capital’s Miami office.
He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, transaction structuring, financing, and execution of post-closing growth, operational, and add-on acquisition strategies.
Matt has led investments across a wide range of industries, and currently serves on the boards of several H.I.G.
portfolio companies.
Prior to joining H.I.G.
in 2007, Matt was a Consultant at Mars & Co., where he worked with Fortune 50 companies in the consumer products, media, and manufacturing industries.
He rejoined H.I.G.
in 2020 after spending three years as a Partner at Comvest where he led the business services and chemicals industry verticals.
Matt earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematical Economics from Pomona College.
He earned his M.B.A. from The Wharton School and his Master of Arts degree in International Studies through the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania.
