Mr. Ross joined ING Ghent in 2000 after Bank Brussels Lambert (BBL) sold its ownership of Ghent Asset Management.
He had been with BBL since 1995.
Prior to that, he was a managing director at Salomon Brothers, which is now part of Citigroup, focusing on special situation, low-quality investment grade, and high-quality speculative grade bond credit research and valuation for the Corporate Bond Trading Desk.
Previously he was the manager of their Corporate Bond (Credit) Research department, a unit he started in 1975.
He began his career at Moody's Investors Service.
Mr. Ross received a B.S.
in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an M.B.A. in finance from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
