Price is a Trader at SAMCO Capital Markets, Inc. He has been working in the securities business since 1985.
He joined the firm in a trader/sales role, and primarily trades mortgage-backed securities, as well as acts as backup trader for all taxable fixed income securities.
Prior to joining SAMCO Capital Markets in 1991, Mr. Price spent five years at Southwest Securities in Dallas, moving from municipal sales/trading into trading other kinds of fixed income securities, including US treasuries and agencies, corporates and mortgage-backed securities.
Mr. Price began his career working in the back office operations at Republic Bank Texas in Dallas.
He graduated with a BA in Finance from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette, LA. He is registered with FINRA as a General Securities Representative (Series 7) and holds a Uniform Securities Agent State Law License (Series 63).
