The Society of Asian Scientists & Engineers (SASE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and developing Asian heritage STEM students and professionals. The non-profit company is based in Lakewood, CO. The organization operates over 106 collegiate chapters and has 8,250 professional members, partnering with more than 75 organizations, including Fortune 500 companies, to build a STEM talent pipeline. SASE offers programs such as skill-building cohorts, leadership training, mentorship, and networking events like national conventions, regional conferences, and career fairs. Members have access to scholarships, digital badges, resource hubs, and workforce opportunities through collegiate and professional memberships. The Professional Employee Network (PEN) supports leadership development and peer mentorship among STEM professionals. SASE’s initiatives focus on career development, leadership growth, community connection, and diversity celebration. The company was founded in 2007 by Thomas Fernandez. The CEO is Khanh Vu.
