Richard John Hunter

Mr. Richard J.
Hunter is Head of UK Equities at Hargreaves Lansdown Stockbrokers Ltd.
He joined the stockbroking fraternity in 1986 at the then well-known private client house of Grenfell & Colegrave.
A year later he moved to NatWest Stockbrokers, where he remained until 2003, rising through the ranks to end up on the NWS Board as Executive Director and Head of the Dealing Services Division, responsible for the dealing, advisory, research and client functions of the firm.
This was followed by a year or so at Fyshe Horton Finney, where he set up and was Managing Director of the London office.
At Fyshe, he was responsible for raising the firm’s profile and for dealing on behalf of both retail and institutional clients.
In November 2004, he joined Hargreaves Lansdown Stockbrokers as Head of UK Equities.
Mr.Hunter is a Fellow of the Securities Institute and has sat on the Retail Markets Committee at APCIMS for a number of years, representing his various firms.
He is frequently quoted in the national press and appears regularly on national radio and TV.
