Robert Blakestad

Robert B. Blakestad is a member of the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical & Petroleum Engrs and the Society of Economic Geologists.
He previously worked as the President & Chief Executive Officer of International Taurus Resources, Inc., Exploration Manager at Cyprus Amax Minerals Co., and Manager-US Reconnaissance at Homestake Mining Company of California.
He also held positions as Chief Geologist & Vice President-Exploration at Apex Silver Mines Ltd. and Vice President-Exploration at Amax Gold, Inc. He was an Independent Director at Plata Latina Minerals Corp.
and Chief Geologist & Senior VP-Exploration at Golden Minerals Co. Mr. Blakestad received his undergraduate degree from New Mexico Institute of Mining & Technology in 1970 and his graduate degree from The University of Colorado in 1978.
He currently holds positions as a member of the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical & Petroleum Engrs and the Society of Economic Geologists.
