Sanford Cloud is the founder of Ironwood Capital Ltd. (founded in 1991).
He is currently the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at Cloud Co. Llc (since 2005) and Chairman at the University of Connecticut Health Center (since 2013).
He also holds director positions at Ironwood Mezzanine Fund LP, Metrohartford Alliance, Inc., Urban National Holding Corp., Thomas J Dodd Center, and the University of Connecticut.
Mr. Cloud previously served as President & Chief Executive Officer of the National Conference for Community & Justice (2004), and held director positions at Tenet Healthcare Corp., The Nassau Cos.
of New York, Inc., Phoenix Capital, Inc., and Back9Network, Inc. He was also the Executive Director of Aetna Foundation, Inc. (1986-1992) and Vice President-Corporate Public Involvement at Aetna, Inc. (1992).
Additionally, he served as a Partner at Robinson & Cole LLP (1994).
Cloud has an undergraduate degree from Howard University and graduate degrees from Hartford International University for Religion & Peace and Howard University School of Law.
