Seiji Yamamori

Part of KDDI Corp., Okinawa Telecommunication Network Co., Inc. is a Japanese electric power passenger company that provides telecommunication services to the entire Okinawa main island. Established in 1996 by 34 companies, including local leading companies, financial institutions, trading companies, and KDDI, it utilizes over 3000 km of optical fiber networks to provide services to public institutions such as general companies, schools, firefighting, police, and local governments, as well as fixed-system and mobile communication businesses. It plays an important role as a core line provider of the person. The company started providing telecommunications services for companies such as high-speed digital transmission services, ATM exclusive service, and wide-area Ethernet service "Powered Ethernet" in 1997, 2000, and 2001, respectively. In 2004, it launched the Hikari broadband internet (FTTH) service "Hikari Furu" for individuals.
