7IM is an active, long-term manager which employs a core and overlay approach to construct portfolios. The firm follows a 3-stage approach, strategically allocating assets, making tactical changes within the tactical overlays in client portfolios and selecting managers and securities. The 7IM Investment Management team and Asset Allocation Committee meet regularly to discuss tactical asset allocation and make recommendations for portfolio changes.
