Steve Schlossareck

Mr. Steve Schlossareck is a Managing Director at Quicksilver Ventures.
He brings to Quicksilver an over twenty year career in corporate investing and deal making, including serving as Vice President at Quantum Technology Ventures.
Prior to founding QTV, he served as Vice President at Quantum Technology Ventures, the equity investment arm of Quantum Corporation, and as Senior Director of Corporate Development at Quantum.
He was responsible for technology licenses, equity and other transactions, including the acquisitions of both ATL and Meridian, the spin-out of Benchmark Tape Systems, and the relationship with and investment in TiVo.
From 1986 through 1997, Mr. Schlossareck was at Apple Computer.
His most recent role was as Senior Manager for Corporate Development and Strategic Investments, with responsibility for spinning out Apple technologies and teams and creating new, independent startup companies.
He also handled equity investments, strategic relationship deal structuring, competitive analysis, planning for new businesses, strategic loans to software companies and technology development agreements.
Previous to Corporate Development at Apple, he held positions in the Apple USA Sales and Marketing Division and in the Information Systems and Technology Division.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Dotcast, Nethra and Vormetric and manages Quicksilver’s investment in Attune Systems.
Mr. Schlossareck holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
