Sumit Mazumder

Sumit Mazumder is currently the Vice Chairman of Myanmar Tractors Ltd. He is also a Director at Paharpur Cooling Towers Ltd., Salgurn Merchants Pvt Ltd., Marbellous Trading Pvt Ltd., Bengal Club Ltd., Ansuya Agencies Pvt Ltd., BP Commodities Pvt Ltd., TIL Overseas Pte Ltd., Tractors Nepal Pvt Ltd., SUBHMANGAL TRACOM PVT LTD, GOKUL LEASING & FINANCE PVT LTD, The Coles Cranes Group Ltd., Ratnapriya Tracom Pvt Ltd., Mukundah Commosales Pvt Ltd., and a Trustee at Syama Prasad Mukherjee Port Trust.
Previously, he was the Executive Chairman & Managing Director of TIL Ltd. from 1987 to 2024.
He was also the Chairman & Managing Director of Gainwell Commosales Pvt Ltd. and the President of the Confederation of Indian Industry from 2014 to 2017.

Ltd. Mr. Mazumder holds an MBA from Sam Houston State University and an undergraduate degree from St. Xavier's College (West Bengal).
