Wendy A. Lopez

In addition to her role with Texas Women Ventures Fund, Ms. Lopez is a Director of Dallas County Hospital District.
She co-founded Lopezgarcia Group, Inc. in 1988 and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer.
She was President of the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners and Chairman of the Greater Dallas Chamber's Women's Business Council.
She was a Member of Board of Managers for the Dallas County Hospital District from 2007 to 2009 and Chairman of the North Texas Commission from 2007 to 2009.
She was Secretary of the National Association of Women Business Owners from 2006 to 2007 and Treasurer from 2004 to 2006.
She was President of Down Town Dallas from 2008 to 2009 and Secretary and Treasurer from 2006 to 2008.
Ms. Lopez was a Director of the SMU School of Engineering, The Trinity Trust, and Rat Pack from 2006 to 2007.
Ms. Lopez received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
