The firm was founded in 1971 and formerly known as Schroder Property Investment Management Ltd. They changed their name to Schroder Real Estate Investment Management Ltd. in 2014. Schroder Real Estate is headquartered in London and manages a range of open and closed ended direct real estate funds comprised of diversified and sector-focused portfolios with different risk-and-return profiles for corporations, insurance companies, local and public authorities, charities, pension funds, high-net worth individuals and retail investors. They offer single-country funds and regional funds and also manage separate account mandates and provide joint venture opportunities across Europe.
