Bill Wilder

Mr. Bill Wilder is President & Chief Investment Officer at Nikko Asset Management Co. Ltd.
He is on the Board of Directors at Nikko Asset Management Co. Ltd.
He joined Nikko AM in 2004 and oversees the firm’s global investment management teams.
Prior to joining the company, he served as President of Fidelity Investments Japan (1995-2004), and as Director of Japanese equity research (1992-1995).
Previously, he served as Director of Japanese equity research at Schroder Securities (1986-1992).
He is a trustee of the Investment Trust Association of Japan and a member of the Market Structure Committee of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
He has also served as a trustee of the Japan Securities Investment Advisory Association, as Vice Chairman of the Financial Services sub-committee for investment management at the American Chamber of Commerce Japan, and as a Trustee for both the American School in Japan and the Nagoya/Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
Mr. Wilder is also a guest lecturer at Hitotsubashi University’s Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy.
He has lived in Japan for 35 years and is fluent in Japanese.
