George Kepper

Mr. Kepper's career began in electronics engineering where he held a number of positions with companies in England, Germany and Sweden, before returning to Australia to become the General Manager of a division of Fairchild Semiconductor.
In 1974 Mr. Kepper founded Datacraft in Australia and, as principal shareholder and Executive Chairman, was instrumental in the guidance and development of the company to become the leading supplier of data communications networks and services in the Asia/Pacific region, with publicly listed operations in both Australia and Singapore.
Mr. Kepper sold his majority shareholding in Datacraft in late 1997 and has since been active in property development, agriculture and venture capital, with an emphasis on investments in high technology operations.
In 2000, Mr Kepper was awarded the Pearcey Medal for his outstanding contribution and pioneering effort in the Australia IT industry.
