Stark, CFA, is a Director of Research at CapWealth Advisors LLC.
He joined CapWealth in 2020 and brings more than 12 years of experience in finance, investing, operations, due diligence and management assessment, as well as transaction sourcing and execution across both private and public sectors.
In his capacity as Director of Research, he manages a team that is responsible for conducting research and analysis on existing portfolio positions as well as sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities.
Mr. Stark Prior to joining CapWealth, he served as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of VMAC Holdings, a New York City based privately held urban mobility business which grew to the second largest owner of Mercedes Metris vans in the United States under his leadership.
Before joining VMAC, he served as Senior Investment Research Analyst at Fairholme Capital Management where, with the Chief Investment Officer, he executed Fairholme’s proprietary investment strategy across an average of $12 billion AUM focusing on value and special situation investments.
?Mr. Stark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a Minor in Accounting, cum laude, from the University of Miami.
He was the recipient of several academic awards including Provost’s and Dean’s Honors.
