Matthew K. Ranta

Matt Ranta is Vice President of Investment at Grey Rock.
Mr. Ranta helps manage financial modeling, investment due diligence, and portfolio valuation.
Previously, Mr. Ranta worked in the Energy Finance Group at Prudential Capital.
During his tenure at Prudential Capital, he focused on structuring and underwriting private credit, mezzanine, and equity investments for companies across the oil & gas value chain.
Prior to Prudential Capital, Mr. Ranta worked as an equity research analyst covering midstream oil & gas companies at Robert W.
Baird & Co. Mr. Ranta holds a BS in Business Administration with a major in Finance from the University of Denver.
He is a CFA charterholder.
